Bramble: The Mountain King was a surprisingly horrifying game. I knew little about it going on but learned that it is based around Scandinavian folk tales. The story is well written and breaks up the nightmarish images with peaceful scenes at the start but looses itself to the darkness that is its tale.
Enemy designs are so gorgeous and detailed, varied in their attack styles, and chilling experiences. The gameplay reminds me of Little Nightmares or Brothers (minus the dual joystick controls).
The achievements are simple enough, with the exception of one where you have to beat the game with no deaths. This is not an easy feat and was one that I skipped out on.
This is a game that I would highly recommend for the story and awesome design.

Solid and very brave game, showing and talking about a lot of taboo themes. I've seen some people cry about the final boss but i thought it was pretty easy though.

I have to acknowledge that this game takes HEAVY gameplay inspiration from Little Nightmares and Inside, and I mean HEAVY. If you've played those games, you already know how this game plays (parkour, minor puzzles, boss fights). There are a few new gameplay concepts, to be fair. However, with that out of the way, goddamn this game slaps.
I've watched playthroughs of both Little Nightmares and Inside (still going to play both of them as I own them both now), and this game is my favorite story hands down. It goes places I didn't expect it would go, and had a level of emotional weight I was NOT prepared for. The game just continues to increase in quality and investment the more I played, and what I was first thinking was kinda tedious BLOSSOMED. Wonderful game.

I'm giving this half a star just because of the final fight and the sudden realization moment I had during it. A darker game that i thought I was getting into with great lore, environmental storytelling and super audio design. The only issues is that the clunky controls can cause some instant death moments that can be frustrating, specially during boss fights. Aside from that, i really really enjoyed it.
Não esperava que esse jogo fosse tão absurdo assim. Ele possui uma quantidade modesta de problemas, coisas ocasionais que prejudicam a experiência como um todo.
A movimentação ser levemente esquisita, o modelo da protagonista ser o pior do jogo inteiro, por algum motivo, assim como você RARAMENTE ser mal guiado na exploração do cenário e das fraquezas das bossfights.
No mais, que jogo FODA, os gráficos são LINDOS, os bosses são absurdamente criativos, a direção de arte é espetacular, ângulos de câmera, cenários. A utilização de contos e fabulas para ilustrações, um boss mais foda que o outro, cenários macabros. Tudo um show de arte a parte.
Encontrei o jogo no gamepass ano passado, parecia muito promissor mas nunca dei play, apesar de ter baixado a um booom tempo atrás. Agora que está pra sair do serviço (06/06/2024), resolvi jogar, não me arrependo.
Fico com uma nota 8.5/10

Sehr schönes kurzes darkes Spiel. Leider ist die Steuerung manchmal sehr fummelig was grad bei engen Situationen den ein oder anderen Tod herbeiführen kann.
