Divinity Original Sin: Enhanced Edition Edition is a much lauded Role-Playing-Game that blends deep customization and humor with dynamic turn based combat. Either in online co-op, split-screen co-op on your TV, or even alone, take advantage of a classless RPG system to create your heroes and conquer the evils of Rivellon! Embark upon a journey with up to three companions as you bend the very fabric of time, where what seems like the case of a simple murder unravels into hours of quests facing fiendish foes, magical polymorphs, and dastardly bosses. As a Source Hunter, master the elements and use the environment to your advantage in dynamic combats mixing weather and magic to explode, poison, electrify, freeze and burn your enemies!

The one where Larian's redemption arc started.

And they nailed it.

Overall, a great game even 10 years after. Main feature for me is couch coop when you can enjoy and impact the playthrough together with someone. And it all comes with sometimes remarkable stories, dialogues, non-linear quest system and deep enough leveling and combat systems. Looking forward to playing advanced versions of this game.

There's a lot to like about this turn-based RPG. Doesn't take itself seriously. Doesn't hold your hand. Great soundtrack too. Hot take: I like this better than the sequel.

Things I didn't like: Normal mode feels like hard mode, I had to turn it down. NPC dialogue is on aggressive auto-loop, literally had to turn voices all the way down. Crafting feels too cumbersome to invest in, sorting inventory between 4 characters is a hassle. Sometimes hard to know where to go to complete a quest.

Things I liked: no re-spawning enemies or random encounters, therefore: no grinding. Ways to finish quests other than killing (take note Bethesda).

Awesome game! A very nice surprise about a RPG! Immersive, hard (even playing on Classic Mode), a true think-based game. Dense and rich story. This game seems like an table RPG and this is a very positive point related of the game's purpose. In my case it was a co-op experience, and this is even better. We had some bugs inside some quests and some boses but nothing big at all.

good potential, beautiful graphics, dumb, sexist story. game mechanics make you do unethical things. violent. it always seems like you could play more efficiently, so i keep starting over and never finish.

Old school RPG doesn't spoon-feed you with the quests, you are expected to find out what to do and where to go by reading dialogues. Love that! There are a few annoying bugs but if you enjoy RPGs and turn-based combat, go for it.
