a beautiful story about self-improvement told in a very short and simple way. i love this game.

La forma videoludica funziona, così come ha funzionato per esempio per "He fucked the girl out of me"

Very much a 'non-game' in that very little you do has meaningful impact on the game itself, just what you see next in very general decisions. In fact you could say its almost more of an 'interactive experience' then a game per se. But while many might take that as a knock against it, I think it's a perfect use of the medium to convey the game's themes. A really cool short little game. And it's free. So go play it.

This is a very hard game to rate because its probably one of the more un-games that I've ever played. Some decisions you make unlock new decisions (ex. going to a shelter to look at animals allows you to volunteer in future days), but other than those few moments, it doesn't really matter what order you do things in. From what I can tell from the achievements, there are event options you can completely miss, but when I say 'miss' I mean 'not unlock'. I don't really know if I'm actually missing much.
The visual style is really unique and cool, but the little daily events thing lasts too long in most cases. I get it being lo-fi but there's just not enough to read and not enough happening on the screen to make those 5-7 extra seconds of lingering worth it.
