A pretty complex and interesting colony/city sim, a ton of systems to dig into and enjoy. Gets a little too complex for my tastes near the end, but I want to keep trying. The completely "apolitical" approach to colonialism sucks, though.

Near perfect city / production builder, great visuals, amazing musics, good depth to the gameplay which is gets all his glory from the addition of the DLCs

I'm in the very early stages of learning the game so far, but it has been an absolute blast. It makes Civ 5 feel like child's play.
I just really wish this complexity came with a pause button that let me really think about my next move. Instead, the games pause button will bar you from interacting with the game at all and hides valuable information.

Pretty good but there is no ability to pause the game and plan, and juggling trade routes and several settlements across different continents makes this problem much worse. Great Timesink, but sometimes feels like you're running the city just to get more things to keep the city running a bit bigger and for each step forward to take exponentially more time.

Very pretty game with satisfactory historical accuracy and most importantly an addicting gameplay. It's never infuriating because when something goes wrong it's entertaining to find out where it went wrong and how to fix it.
This game's only flaw is the campaign just being a long tutorial.

Literal crack, couldn't stop myself from playing more. Has just about everything I would want in a game like this. Banger on all fronts.
