Game is so generic, graphics are good but that’s it.

straight up the best piece of media i have ever seen

A lacking story, brainless combat, inconsistent presentation, and ugly as sin – Babylon’s Fall is the poster child for how not to build a “games as a service” title. There are shreds of inspired design, but this messy fantasy adventure very obviously ran out of time and budget, feeling half-finished by the end of its runtime. Service for the title was terminated on February 27, 2023, and good riddance to this blight of a game.

Never before have I felt such disappointment in a title before until this day. The biggest blow to the gut that platinum fans have gotten since Scalebounds cancellation, and after seeing this, I think it was a good thing that Scalebound got canned. A game with good ideas, but bad execution and intentions. You can tell from their website, update schedule and even the gear in game that they were following along FFXIV’s footsteps. Just maybe the wrong version of FFXIV. I do hope that maybe this game will get A Realm Reborned and become something fantastic but the chances are more than slim. It’s unfortunate to see something even as bad as it is, die a slow miserable death with no way to experience it.

I am going to have stockholm syndrome over this game, aren't I?
