Cacoma Knight in Bizyland

released on Nov 21, 1992

Cacoma Knight is a hybrid of action and puzzle elements. Each level is a single screen. The first image that the player sees is a landscape, for example, a forest or a town. The image will then fade into a "corrupt" version of the landscape, for example, the trees become rotten and buildings become ruined. Each screen has a "Qualify" target that shows how much of the screen must be cleared before the game continues to the next level.

this is just Qix but i love Qix.

This game was fine I guess, it wasn't even offensive but maybe I'd like Qix more? Now I wanna try it. I just wanna ask since no one who reviewed it said it but is the game suppose to just freeze when you get some %? It would like just stop and would even get worse at times if you did really big ones. What gives? Is my rom broken?? Also they really wasted such a good artstyle on something like this like come on!

A mere 15 minutes of Qix If It Was Ugly™. Weird because the cutscene art is really nice, done much in the same style as Kendo Rage. Both are developed by Affect, who also did X-Dazedly Ray. Unfortunate for them.

A fun Qix clone that isn't overly hard once you get used to it. Cute aesthetic and pleasant music.

Turns out Polystar's "amazing character art in a mid-ass shovelware shtick" DIDN'T start out with Kendo Rage.

Why are these goobers stuck in the microscopic Qix zone. It ain't even good Qix. All this slowdown everywhere and weird-ass enemy patterns. The environment art in the gameplay sections isn't even great honestly, it has that weird over-shaded and over-saturated look that reminds me of B-tier Genesis flicks.

This should've been a golf game. The king loves golf. I love golf.
