This unreleased entry to the Castlevania saga featured 3D graphics and the ability to play as either Victor or Sonia Belmont in a quest to vanquish a countess who sought to bring count Dracula back from the dead once again. Castlevania: Resurrection would have been the first Castlevania title developed by Konami's American division, but was cancelled on March 30, 2000.

Always difficult to see something that could have been incredible in a truncated state, but thank goodness we have the prototype at all. The charge attack mechanic is interesting and model work is fun, but know that if you seek out the prototype itself that exiting the game's bounds is EXTREMELY easy, and may get in your way of trying things out quite a bit. Otherwise an excellent tour of what could have been.
