Cat Quest is a 2D open world RPG with the exploration of Skyrim, but set in the visual style of an overworld. This is a fantasy world that asks the question of how different it would be if cats lived in it instead of humans! Go to places like the Catpital where the Lion King rules, or experience delicacies like the catnip pie! Talk to the locals, some already on their 7th or 8th lives(what? not all cats have nine lives y'know), and go on a catventure through a world you've never seen before!

Cat Quest is a north-of-decent little ultra-casual ARPG. It’s got a pretty strong balance of “turn your brain off” sensibilities and mechanical gameplay which makes it ripe for podcast gaming. Unfortunately, I found the structure of the quests very dull and I quickly made the decision to spam through all the dialogue. Also the gear upgrading system was confusing and seems like it’s built off a lootbox system in this singleplayer game? Just felt a little off. Still, it’s decent enough where I’d recommend it on a heavy discount if you’re looking for a cute Switch or Steam Deck game to twiddle your thumbs at as you’re doing other stuff.
Es lo bastante entretenido como para dedicarle un rato y no arrepentirte, pero le falta algo y no sé que es. Me genera la suficiente curiosidad como para querer probar la segunda parte, pero ni de lejos como para pasármelo otras TRES VECES (mínimo) para el 100%. No gracias.
O combate é simples e satisfatório, apesar de uns inimigos que o tempo de reação que tu tem pra desviar é tão pequeno que é impossível desviar e tu sempre toma dano, mas a progressão rápida dele faz com que tu fique preso e viciado em ver os números subirem e o personagem ficando mais forte.
De resto, é tudo bem mais ou menos. História é qualquer coisa só pra ter uma justificativa, não sou um grande fã da direção de arte mas serve, sidequests (o grosso do jogo) são incrivelmente entediantes e repetitivas que, se não fosse pela curta duração dele, ficaria ainda pior.

Has a cute and fun aesthetic, but unfortunately you have seen everything the game really has to offer within the first 15-20 minutes. And it ends up being quite repetitive despite its short length.
It's like a mix of Skyrim and Dark Souls, but with cats. Sometimes challenging, but there are countless quests and dungeons to explore, along with some awesome references to other games.
eu havia dropado e voltei pra fazer 100%, o jogo ok, artes muito boas e uma historia imersiva e com um bom plot, vc tem a liberdade de zerar o jogo em 1h em média indo pela main quest ou ficar pelo mundo aberto fazendo sides, sim, ir do ponto A ao ponto B e fazer sides quests fáceis, a nota media é pela minha experiência, ficou maçante ficar horas fazendo todas as quests do jogo, e tive que jogar uns 8 ng+ de 1h em média pois um achievement não vinha.
