It’s a really fun expansion when you don’t have a murderous AI in your ear laughing and telling you that your strategy is flawed while calling you a meat bag

Much better campaign missions than the Vanilla game, with a more focused plot (the first interwoven plot in the series!) that progresses in a naturalistic way. The additions to the arsenals - mobile war factories, mobile stealth generator, GDI artillery - are much appreciated.

Last mission is a real ball-buster though; averaged THREE HOURS for each side, and the final boss almost literally can't be killed by ground forces, which is a bit of a "fuck you".

Was quite the experience when it came out, best game in the series. The world is super cool and the designs of the factions are super unique and full of flavor. also super outdated.

Like every C&C expansion pack before it, it's higher-difficulty and lower rent, and also as with the others, it indulges way too much in complex puzzle-missions that demand more trial-and-error than strategy. The scaling back of the FMV cutscenes and return to commanders talking directly to camera and addressing your blessedly offscreen character would be appreciated, but the story is still too dull and serious for that to be much advantage.
