It's a bit annoying to run on current software, but it's worth it. I recommend the GOG version over Steam.
I have no idea how I managed to finish this at the time as a kid without YouTube.
I finished today years old, and it's still as good as the first time I played it.
Sound design and missions are excellent, despite being a little artificially inflated at times. 10/10.

I really love this game because of how unique it feels. VERY difficult. Missions can take hours to complete.

DXwind fixes most problems.
Had 0 problems playing with DX10, skipping frames x3 (fixes game running too slow)

I did like it, but I think I was too young to really appreciate this game when I played it, and got frustrated with it way too fast, during one of the desert missions. Shame on me.
