One of the earliest Dungeon Crawl games. Written in 1983 for the Atari 8-bit computer line by John Palevich and published by Atari in their APX catalog. Dandy is an up to 4 player cooperative dungeon crawl. The game was ported to the ZX Spectrum, Commodore 64 and Amstrad CPC. It was the inspiration for games like Dark Chambers and the very popular Gauntlet series.

This game laid the technical foundations for hundreds of dungeon crawlers that would built on the premise found here. Despite the primitive graphics, the gameplay is smooth and holds its own.
