Visceral releases "worst conclusion ever", asked to create Battlefield spinoff

This is a joke. They wanted money for this? This would have been a waste of time if it was attached to the main game, but as a DLC that costs extra money???

Surprisingly decent DLC for Dead Space 3.

The added DLC, Awakened, added a decent extra piece of content and story to the game. It goes back to the roots of Dead Space, with more focus on horror. This was a pleasant surprise for me.

The goal here is simple. Get to a ship to leave the planet Tau Volantis. You firstly escape to CMS Terra Nova, and need to find some missing parts to fix the ship so you can travel further to earth (and hopefully, to safety).

On your journey you constantly get confronted will all the horror and insanity that the Marker causes and what it does to the people, still living on the planet.

There are some sick plot twists in this DLC that fixed most of the complains I had with the original Dead Space 3 in terms of enjoy-ability and story.

In the end, I had fun with Dead Space 3, and this DLC. However, I think the DLC is better.

I was put off playing this for a while because I thought it would be just as bad as Dead Space 3 if not worse, but i was genuinely surprised by how much better than the main campaign this was. It does still have a lot of flaws, like the unrealistic interactions between the characters and the weird crafting system is still there, but since you keep your weapons and crafting materials from your main game playthrough, and that means I was finally able to get the Disembowler, which was a really good weapon that was loyal to the Ripper. The hallucinations are a bit weird and unfair and just feel like they’re there just to lead up to the very cool final boss and also take down your health alot. But overall a pretty solid DLC and now I want there to be a Dead Space 4.

I didn't hate this but it's very so-so. Retreading reused environments from the base game and not doing much satisfying for the story just left me with a big sense of whatever. The additional cult stuff is kinda cool but this entire series already is entirely built on weird cult stuff...
