this is not really a bad game it actually reminds me of double dragon 2 if it wasn't for the shitty controls I would give 4 stars instead of 3, I think double dragon 3 will always be the worst game in the series no matter how many more ever get made I almost pretty sure most people will agree with me on that

Not as bad as people will have you think, but that doesn't mean its good. The 'ending' is way too short, and ends out of no where, and the combat usually leaves you so outnumbered that you forced to take a few lives.

Waste of a revival. Nobody wanted a Double Dragón game that played like the NES games but has worst controls and levels

I guess I've played worse, but this was definitely a step down from Double Dragon 2 despite being made decades later.

Everything about this game feels lazy. The sprites are hardly updated from Double Dragon II on the NES, if at all. The game is clearly trying to retread that ground, but as a modern game it just doesn't feel good. It's too slow, too easy to get stunlocked, and just generally feels like a bad fan game instead of an official main series sequel. It's just sad because we've seen the potential this series has with Double Dragon Neon, so that makes Double Dragon IV feel like even more of a regression.

It's just NES DD2 but feels slower for some reason. What little level design it tries to have is bare bones. Most of the actual beat em up sections can easily cheesed by just going down the very bottom of the screen where goons dare not to enter.

It overall feels more like someone's first fangame project. Compared to your Megaman 9s, Sonic Manias or Double Dragon Neons, this is a very flaccid revival.
