"Monster Hunter" meets "beat-'em-up RPG" with IntiCreates spritework. Interesting, but the single-player is lacking and the multi-player is dead, partly due to its pricey release scheme. Still I wish it had taken off! With better stage design it had MapleStory-esque potential.

Waited with playing this until I could convince someone else to play it with me but the level design, the enemies, the bosses, the overall gameplay loop where you have to quit out of co-op to go get items in shops that feel randomly thrown on a map… it feels like it wants to be monster hunter so bad but then absolutely fails when it comes to providing a smooth, fun co-op experience… and I’ve heard solo it’s just a spongefest of enemies. It looks nice I guess, the art is on point, but that’s about it. Feel free to skip.

A decent coop action platformer ala Mega Man. Stages were slightly boring, but there were some cool boss fights in there.

I love the game but it has alot of grinding and it's best played with friends, which can be hard to set up. Id still recommend it though.

I think this is a game that if you don't have anyone to play multiplayer with, really don't think about getting it at all. I played with just one other friend while exclusively playing witch and she's an extremely fun character, and if you like grinding missions at higher and higher difficulties kinda like Monster Hunter but with the standard Inticreates gameplay experience then it's worth playing, but otherwise it's probably not worth your time.

I'm a huge Inti Creates fan, and I really like everything about this game, but man is the balance for solo play terrible. Everything is 2-3x as spongy as it needs to be, which makes some of the later missions just boring to play.
