The PlayStation Portable version was released exclusively through the PlayStation Network in most regions, but saw a physical release in Japan. New features included: Improved graphical quality, import-friendly, an auto-battle feature, the ability to switch between original and arranged soundtracks, an art gallery plus common data install to available storage medium (JP only).

FF3 on DS has one of the most beautiful opening intro's ever. That CG movie really sells the game and it's interpretation of the characters and it's world is definitive classic FF in my head.
