released on Sep 14, 2012

In FTL you experience the atmosphere of running a spaceship trying to save the galaxy. It's a dangerous mission, with every encounter presenting a unique challenge with multiple solutions. What will you do if a heavy missile barrage shuts down your shields? Reroute all power to the engines in an attempt to escape, power up additional weapons to blow your enemy out of the sky, or take the fight to them with a boarding party? This "spaceship simulation roguelike-like" allows you to take your ship and crew on an adventure through a randomly generated galaxy filled with glory and bitter defeat.

Nunca consegui matar o boss final, mas eu sempre acabo voltando pra esse roguelike por conta do quão gostoso é jogar ele

I will never beat this game, my brain is too small.

I HATE ZOLTANS!!, I HATE ZOLTANS!!, I HATE ZOLTANS!!, I HATE ZOLTANS!!, I HATE ZOLTANS!!, I HATE ZOLTANS!!, I HATE ZOLTANS!!, I HATE ZOLTANS!!

I've played a lot of FTL, and I don't think I ever beat it. Game definitely feels like it comes from a less forgiving era of roguelikes, which is fun when you're looking for that, and not fun otherwise.

Sometimes it's great to just stop for a moment and float there. Not necessarily even to stop and catch your breath and repair after a tough battle, sometimes just to take in the scene and enjoy where you are.

Every piece of music is great and fits your situation pretty well, and there's a lot of music! Nice to have as you assemble a ship and crew worthy of your journey.

The only real problem is that it takes quite a while to unlock things, which is a bigger problem when you lose your save. Oh well...

A fun but stressful rogue-like on a spaceship!

solid, annoying RNG at times
