Goetia is a point-and-click adventure game – and, as in any adventure game, you’ll be seeking out clues, finding objects, and figuring out how to use or combine them in order to progress through the different areas, puzzles and encounters. However, there is one major difference compared to other adventure games that you might be used to. In Goetia, you play the part of Abigail, the ghost of a young lady. And as a ghost, you can walk through walls and fly through ceilings, you can explore everywhere as you see fit. But… to manipulate objects, you’ll have to possess them, just like a real poltergeist would. And once you possess an object, you can’t pass through walls anymore.

Loved this game. You wake up as Abigail, a ghost searching the remains of her family's mansion. Through notes and puzzles, you piece together what happened after you passed away. The story is more twisted, the puzzles difficult, and many note readings.

No voice acting but the game doesn't need it. Instead it has some music (including music puzzles) and ambiance noises in the background. The atmosphere throughout the game is FANTASTIC. There's a constant feeling of isolation and dread as you're searching for your family. It felt eerie nearly the entire game. Wonderfully done compared to scary or horror titles that rely on cheap scares. This is how you set the mood.

I like that you're not locked to one area. There's five different zones in the game and if you're stuck on a puzzle in one area, you can try your luck in another. You can go back and forth freely. There's even fast travel. The animations, art style, and writing were well done. The control of the mouse can be finicky when you're viewing or placing objects.

My only big bummer with the game was both endings have to be done separately. I got the good ending first so in order to get the bad ending, I had to speedrun the game again. I didn't HAVE to do that, but I wanted all the achievements since I really enjoyed the game. Highly recommend this one if you enjoy challenging puzzle games.

Душноватая игра. Лично для меня. Не знаю смогу ли я вкатится в поинт-энд-клик квесты когда-нибудь. Пиксель хантинг убивает

An interesting 2D point and click adventure where your character is also the cursor. Atmospheric and surprisingly relaxing.

I hate these types of games. I really can't see how any fun can be had when the gameplay consists of you being lost 95% of the time and trying to figure out the most obtuse puzzles before ultimately looking up a guide to get through it.

A beautiful point and click mystery game where you are trying to find what happened to your family in a house and surrounding area cursed by demons. The atmosphere is very fitting and the artwork looks so nice.

Completed with good ending; 100% of codex entries collected. With an appropriately dark and mysterious setting, Goetia puts the player in control of the spirit of a former inhabitant of a now-abandoned mansion and tasks you with exploring the mansion and its surroundings in an attempt to uncover the events that have led it to this state. Although dark in tone and with death as a common theme, Goetia is more atmospheric and somewhat creepy than it is horror, and the game does a good job of capturing this feeling through its story and soundtrack. What may let the game down in the eyes of some is its difficulty - many puzzles have solutions that, while they may make sense in hindsight, are not at all obvious to work out, especially with key items and interactive elements not necessarily being easy to locate. If you're prepared for this difficulty and find the theme interesting, you'll likely enjoy Goetia, but otherwise I'd suggest being wary.
