pretty competent tie-in game, fun and varied combat with tons of different abilities to use that all feel very useful, decent visuals and the rail shooter flight segments adds some variety to spice some of the levels.

the combat tends to have it's sluggish aspects though, the player often gets stunlocked out of nowhere and evade moves could have felt a lot more smoother and responsive not to mention that it does have it's signs of low budget here and there as expected from most tie-in games but honestly this is a lot of fun, definitely would recommend it if someone is looking for an sweet and short hack'n slash with an fun combat to enjoy, had to emulate it on the Steam Deck to play it since this HD version never got released outside of the PS3 and X360.

Yawnnnnn...... I had this game, but it is very boring shovelware.

Verdict (or TL;DR): 1.5\5. One of the worse games I played lately, ran so bad, and both the story and gameplay of this Green Lantern game puts the 'L' in lackluster.

Graphics: 2\5. The graphics were bad even by the standards of ps3, it really looks like they were rushed to finish the whole thing is a weekend or something

Gameplay: 1\5. you run around collecting power ups, and beating up some bad guys along the way, nothing to write home about, nothing that bad in particular, it would have been a 3\5 if it didn't run so badly.

Bought the game used and continued a previous save file that was already 82% completed. Game is like a 2D platformer Metroid game that has you collect power-ups in different worlds and have you fight enemies. Game would be much better if it ran better (lagged a lot) and was more polished.

Movie tie-in games have a reputation of being at best okay and at worst just straight up lazy. Going into this (especially as a Green Lantern fanatic) I had extremely low expectations due to this tying into the 2011 Green Lantern movie.

But honestly this surprised me with how “okay” it was. Its gameplay is pretty decent, as a stripped down God of War (the originals) clone can get really.

Combat is mostly satisfying, abilities are fun and pretty varied. Although it can be sluggish at times and the fact you can’t fly seems pretty weird. It could’ve even just worked like the Lego superhero games do.

The story is probably the biggest shocker in terms of surpassing expectations. It’s no Last of Us or even Uncharted 1, but it’s cohesive and has a pretty decent villain. It’s the expanded universe that I really appreciated. It takes concepts such as the other colours in the emotional spectrum and I’m just surprised they’d even be mentioned. Although they don’t really develop those ideas past the surface level of just showing they exist. Again, the story isn’t really “good” it’s just surprisingly better than “okay”.

I can’t recommend this for anyone other than die-hard comic fans or someone who just wants a mind-less hack’n-slash. But overall I give this a “Brightest Day” rather than a “Blackest Night”.

Joguei a pior versão de um jogo que ja era mais ou menos. Foda
