Guitar Hero World Tour

released on Oct 26, 2008

Guitar Hero: World Tour is the fourth main game in the series and brings a major change to the concept. Following the release of Rock Band that built on the Guitar Hero concept but added additional instruments, World Tour introduces these as well to allow players to play together simultaneously as a real band. Next to the guitar that was the main peripheral for the previous titles, the bundled edition of the game adds a microphone for the vocal parts and drums for percussion. Just like the previous game, the guitar tracks are split up for the lead and bass. The lyrics and the vocal pitch is shown near the top of the screen, while the bottom part is split up for bass guitar, lead guitar and drums, each with a separate set of notes that need to be hit to correctly play the part.

Lembro muito pouco também, mas a mudança nos gráficos me deixou admirado na época.

Guitar Hero World Tour is the ultimate band experience for those classic plastic instrument parties. Rocking out on guitar, drums, bass, and even singing is a blast – the tracklist is killer! Sure, some of the new instruments take some getting used to, and creating your own songs is way more confusing than it needs to be. Still, there's nothing quite like rocking out with friends and nailing a tough solo – pure Guitar Hero fun.

o setlist desse era irado demais. tinha korn, paramore, LINKIN PARK, 30 seconds to mars, MICHAEL JACKSON, bullet for my valentine e system of a down

aun tengo la guitarrita para la pc precámbrica

Played the Definitive Edition mod on PC but still played through the main setlist and tried to keep to the original venues and songs as much as possible.

The songs I think are really fun and good in the first part of the game, then get really obscure by the second part, which shows how much I know about music and also does what I love most about Guitar Hero - getting the absolute batshit songs just for the end lmao.
I was a big fan of the venues and stuff, especially that last part with the credits, it made me laugh as I played out that last song, and it made me happy that Guitar Hero has always kind of never taken itself seriously, it was always more about the music and the vibe and getting gud at the game. And World Tour still delivers on that!

Fun time, loved playing as my Fortnite skins, I will always revisit this I think.
