Weirdly bland for a Suda game, Killer Is Dead feels like a porn parody of a Suda game; the plot is confusing and cryptic, combat can be fun and fluid but it gets bland quick, and the weird lighting really messes with me. The music is fairly good with 2 BANGERS (Chosen By The Moon & Tommy's Theme) but overall, it's an ok OST. Pretty disappointed with it.

Killer is very pretty looking, with a typical confusing Suda51 story. Has like 7 unique enemies not counting bosses so combat can be pretty bland, but the hits feel really good to connect. Due to some demands, Suda51 was forced to add content sexualising women like the Gigolo mini-games because the publisher assumed it would sell the game better, it didn't.

when the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie that's amore

Though not directed by Suda himself, they certainly captured his madness. Gameplay was surprisingly really fun, a much needed step up over Lollipop Chainsaw in that respect. Great style too.

So... I tried to get back into this game after putting it on the shelf for a bit and play some other games.

Overall, it just wasn't enough for me to continue the game and finish it. I understood that this was a game that was Suda's spin on the 'James Bond' type of character and series... but the storyline and characters... while they looked cool, they didn't really give me enough to continue the game personally?

And the gameplay was pretty cool... but I don't know... I just didn't get that 'push' to finish the game.

So, I've decided to drop the game and focus on others... It's not a bad game, but sometimes the games you play... don't move you personally to want to beat it. And I'm afraid this was the case with this game.

this feels like it was made by someone who never played a suda game trying to make a game in sudas style
