This one is genuinely so much weaker than the other 3 games in the franchise. The waves trickle by so slowly and even though i played on pc, im quite dissapointed by finding out you have to pay for heroes AND the other towers on mobile through in-app purchases. And to boot, im really on the fence about the new tower system and having so many just be completely unviable and useless. Weird game

Not as good as the original trilogy, but artstyle-wise it might be a step up. The choices of towers you could bring into each battle was overwhelming but it did add another layer of strategy to the game. Boneflingers and the Mausoleums were very good but overall all towers were fairly balanced, as those two weren't the best choices in every scenario. It was fun being back in the Kingdom Rush universe but through the eyes of the villains this time.

Okay, leaving it for now.
The game def feels worse after the original trilogy. Mainly the speed and the waves just don't feel right

And the tower system is also quite a miss. Will come back some time in the future

It's still Kingdom Rush. I love it. Even tho I'm not a fan of this tower selection system, it's still fun. The towers are not as fan as in the previous one(apart the skeleton one), but its still fun

One of the best tower defenses (talking about the whole franchise)

Solid gameplay, really good & clear visuals. Story is there. Overall that's a very solid game, I just don't really like tower wheel here. I guess I prefer having to choose between two last upgrades rather than having to choose it before the level starts. Also some towers are really op, and it's hard to not choose em
