this is secretly so trans-coded, iykyk

I absolutely love this game, almost as much as I love Silver Star Story Complete, but I realize here in the year 2024 that I remember almost nothing about the story, the characters, and the world. Most of that is on me as it has been more than 20 years since I last played it. But, I think it might also be because Silver Star Story Complete is just so impeccably well done that a sequel had a lot to live up to. I believe it stands up quite well but I'll have to revisit it in the near future to make sure the fog of time and nostalgia isn't playing tricks on me.

in the english dub outtakes lunn's voice actor fucks up his line and then suddenly starts singing sweet transvestite from rocky horror.

Review in progress:
Overrated. Lunar 2: Eternal Blue Complete has a basic anime JRPG story with dull characters and an uninteresting world. It's even more forgettable than the original. The combat system is simplistic and repetitive. This looks underwhelming graphically. They could've put a lot more effort into the PS1 version. The soundtrack is also lacking.

The localization is atrocious. I hope you like unfunny humor and lots of pop culture references! The difficult changes the localizers made turned the game into a grindy slog. Localizers have no place messing with the game balance.

A more refined version of the first game. It's really good.
