Mega Man V

released on Jul 22, 1994

Mega Man V, known as Rockman World 5, is a video game developed and published by Capcom for the Game Boy handheld game console. It is the fifth and final game in the Game Boy version of the original Mega Man series. The game follows the adventures of the protagonist Mega Man as he must defend the Earth from a group of powerful robots from outer space called the "Stardroids". Mega Man V was also unique from the previous Game Boy Mega Man games as it features original and unique bosses rather than recycling those from the original Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) Mega Man games.

You get a cat AND a dog in this one. Also cool af alien robots. My favorite classic game by far!

Mega Man V is easily one of the game boy's secret shames, not because it's bad, but because of how ignore this game is compared to the rest of the library. With an original story, good level design, an amazing soundtrack, and great boss, and weapon design; Mega Man V is easily one of the better Mega Man games out there.

Mientras Capcom ya estaba estancado con la saga principal, llega este equipo externo a hacer un videojuego creativo que llega a ser muy bueno.

best 8-bit Mega Man imo. top-notch production quality, few low points and great new bosses. really dig all the mega arm upgrades, and the music some of the best from the classic games. worst i can say about it is that it's got some noticeable slowdown.
