Monkey Magic is a video game released in arcades by Nintendo in 1979. It is a Breakout clone and one of Nintendo's earliest arcade games. Some sources claim that Ikegami Tsushinki also did design work on Monkey Magic. Players control a paddle to hit the ball at a large number of blocks shaping a monkey's face. Players can also earn different numbers of points by catching blocks that fall, as well as hitting the ball in different places.

Nintendo's odd Breakout clone. It adds more focused objectives to the gameplay of Breakout, but without giving you any additional control you mostly just end up spending more time waiting to get the right hit.

By far one of the weirdest games Nintendo has ever made. It's essentially just a Breakout clone, but instead of breaking blocks you're torturing a monkey. His suffering occurs in stages, such as dislocating his jaw or skinning his face. I mostly just feel bad, partly for the monkey, but mostly because this game is really hard.
