The Gold Rush Pack (named Go! Go! Gold Mario Pack in Japan) is the first of three Coin Rush packs for New Super Mario Bros. 2 released in Japan, Europe, and Oceania on October 2nd, 2012, and was released in North America on October 4th, 2012. The pack consists of courses filled with large amounts of coins, with Gold Flowers being the primary power-up. It is rated one out of five stars in difficulty, making it the easiest pack of the three released on October 2012. This pack uses 3 blocks on the SD card when bought alone.

Somehow, this DLC understands the NSMB2 elevator pitch of collecting as many coins as you can in a frenzy of gold a lot better than the base game does? This was the one time where I was actually having fun with the coin collecting. Where was this energy in the actual game.
It's just fun collecting buckets of coins.
