Pathologic (known in Russian as Мор. Утопия) is an award winning 2005 psychological horror video game developed by the Russian studio Ice-Pick Lodge. It was published in Russia and other CIS-countries by Buka Entertainment. The game was published in the UK on 18 August 2006 by G2 Games. The game is going to be remade for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X and Linux by Ice-Pick Lodge and self-published in 2015.

Um dos meus jogos favoritos da vida apesar de suas dificuldades técnicas óbvias. A ambientação, as metalinguagens, um jogo de terror psicológico feito num canto do mundo e numa época que você não tinha o gênero tão bem estabelecido. O jogo parece o encontro único e eslavo pós-soviético de Morrowind e Silent Hill.
Loucura, perda, impossibilidade de ser. Guarde tudo que você encontrar e cuidado com a água.

Peca muito na gameplay, fora que tá muito datado. Fora isso, os plot twists são insanos e a constante preocupação de fazer um bom final e sobreviver o dia faz com que o jogo crie uma atmosfera muito única e imersiva.

There’s no explanation possible for the feeling of horror this game makes you feel… It’s real, it’s visceral.
In a moment you will catch yourself worried about having money to buy a piece of bread just to not die, and in other moment you will be worried about a pandemic that slowly and painfully kills every single one that it touches, and yeah, hunger and fatigue too…
This is not even a fraction of what this game makes you feel… I don’t even know if it’s prudent to recommend this game to anyone, but, one thing I can definitely assure you. You will suffer…
