very close to a perfect game, music is phenomenal, characters are great (akechi), story, gameplay, everything is just fantastic in this game. i know some of the writing is controversial or whatever but i genuinely loved it start to finish (especially that last palace in royal)
This is maybe my favorite video game of all time, with the other close contender being Paper Mario: the Thousand Year Door. Definitely in my top 2 though. I cannot recommend this game enough. I have done multiple playthroughs of both Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal, and have loved them both so much. I have also completed them both with 100% completion. Between all my playthroughs, I have spent a minimum of 300 hours on this game. I repurchased the game on PC when it came out, and also did multiple playthroughs in PC with mods too.

This is, currently, my favorite game ever made. White I dislike the 5th arc for a certain character taking the spotlight when they absolutely shouldn't have, the game is, without a doubt, a masterpiece.
when i moved put everything in this edition back in the box and i have yet to take it back out
