Resident Evil 7: Biohazard

released on Jan 24, 2017
by Capcom

Resident Evil 7: Biohazard is the first game of the Resident Evil series to switch from 3rd-person to fully 1st-person perspective. A complete refresh of gameplay systems simultaneously propels the survival horror experience to another level. It is as much horror as it is survival, boosting up scare elements and minimizing downright shooting action. The game allows use of Sony's PSVR Headset to play in VR mode.

Finally playing this game 7 years after release, there's not much that I can add to the discussion that hasn't already been said. But, I love the atmospheric horror that the first couple of hours this game provides. I love the Baker Family as antagonists, specifically Jack. His voice actor does amazing work. The game does start to fall off a bit towards the final act. Avoiding spoilers, if you've played this game before, I'm sure you know exactly which part I'm talking about. Regardless, still an overall enjoyable experience and a great addition to the Survival Horror genre.

I earned every achievement on Steam while playing RE7 and its DLC and this game can be challenging at some points. Madhouse isn't too bad, but Ethan Must Die and Joe Must Die will each take you a couple of hours to beat. But, that's not to dissuade anyone from playing these DLCs as they are an absolute blast and a real change of pace from the main game. Regardless of if you're just playing Blackjack or playing a cooking time attack mode, the DLCs knock it out of the park with their presentation and design.

ápice do terror em resident evil

Salvou a continuação da saga, trouxe uma nova jogabilidade muito amada pelo público com uma belíssima história.

nice car ethan.
I'm done with ranting for paragraphs about RE for now all i'll say is that Madhouse is one of my favourite examples of a hardest difficulty maybe ever

I remember having a pretty good time with the main game itself, but I was pretty burnt out by the time I got to the DLCs so I didn't play those. I'd have to play it again to give it a more accurate review, so for now I'll give it a 4/5.
