Resident Evil Village is a first person survival horror and the sequel to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The game maintains elements from previous Resident Evil games with players having to scavenge environments for items and manage their resources. However, it adds more action-oriented gameplay, with higher enemy counts and a greater emphasis on combat.

Wow what a disappointment. I loved the vibe of the game, especially the first sections with that folk-horror energy.
But it's just not fun? Like it feels like no effort whatsoever was put into making the game actually enjoyable. the gameplay is so uninspired and janky. Not good.

Also jesus christ! I never liked Ethan all that much but I was able to kind of appreciate him in RE7. In this game he is literally so lame. Like every cutscene is just him getting stabbed or pushed around and crying about it. Like yeah I would do the same thing but compared to other RE protagonists like Leon and Chris he's just such a little bitch. Don't like him, I hope he gets replaced in RE9.

Also sidenote: He is so forgettable that I published this review and accidentally called him Ian and it took me a bit to realize

Almost perfect, only problem is the game is not that scary considering that it is a horror game. But still the gameplay is fun and realistic like the other RE games.

Bom jogo, mas com uma ordem de Boss um tanto quanto duvidoso. A Dimitresco tinha q ser final boss

Bom jogo, bela continuação do 7, ótima a transformação de personalidade do personagem principal.

I had a fun time with this one, I enjoyed the shift towards action, and I felt pretty sad at the end. I recall having a better time with this one over 7, but they're both good experiences.

I bought the DLC, though really only played a bit of the expanded mercenaries mode. I'd have to go back and play the main DLC to see how that is.
