Some good points, some negative points. I enjoyed the protagonist, and there are some strong emotional beats. However, there are a couple awkward plot points, and the game turning into Resident Evil lessened my enjoyment.

This was the first Visual Novel i played and whilst not being the best story you'll ever play though, it has great character building, great characters in general, the art style is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye and the music is used very well to emphasize and amplify the atmosphere. There's even a free DLC chapter which was okay but nothing too ground-breaking. The downside is that it is a pretty basic story and one that will get lost over time when you play better Visual Novels, however as a starting point, or even for someone who just wants a quick and easy story to get through, it's worth it.

very comfy, the plot is a bit silly and B-movie ish, but the character interactions are so good it's worth reading it for them alone -- they even added an extra chapter just for that and it's great

I will try not to spoil as I do recommend it if you like detective stories, but I do have to say that the final part of this game lost me almost entirely. Without saying much, it stops being a mystery drama to become a horror story, and the transition is less than seemless.
