Great premise, okay execution. One of the more charming Playdate Season games. A really cool twist on usual grid-based battle games with a cool use of the crank. Just feels like it isn't very fleshed out and you can run through all the content in no time, especially once you buy the ridiculously strong video camera option. Fun though.

É uma pena que eu não goste mesmo de RPG tático, porque a proposta temática e o humor desse aqui é bem diferente e me interessou.

Sasquatchers gets a lot of bonus points for a unique premise, and a good sense of humour and overall style. I really love the idea of a game where you are hunting for the perfect shot of cryptids.

This game has the functional building blocks of something really cool, but ultimately is not really fleshed out enough in my opinion. It's not just short, but almost every encounter plays out very similarly. You generally don't have to hunt the cryptids on the map, they just walk over to you and you photograph them. The videographer is ridiculously OP, and makes even the later levels feel quite trivial.

I didn't play much of this, because I found it too slow and not my cup of tea

Great premise, great execution. One of the few Playdate Season One games that I could truly see myself coming back to repeatedly.

Super cool concept, need to play more
