A brightly-lit, electro Breakout. It begins with good ideas and I enjoyed how boards encourage a mixture of classic paddle technique with the push-pull of its fans to change the arc of the ball. Unfortunately, it runs out of ideas in the middle. Two bosses are re-used with slight variations and there are few new obstacles, bricks, or board shapes in the last few levels. As a result, it seemed like the game increasingly relied on debris that knocks out the player's paddle over other challenges. I would have preferred that challenge come in the form of more interesting or complicated boards.

Shatter is still a king of the brick breaker genre. It managed to actually evolve and add a new twist to a genre that's decades old. And overall execution, gameplay, music and effects were just brilliant. It was little light on content, at least on PS3.

Over a decade later Shatter's "rhythm breakout" design still hits just as well. I really miss this era of "rhythm arcade revivals" with this and Pac-Man CE DX. Indies should take this path up again.

A tremendous brick breaker with fantastic music, a great look, and a great feel. The blow/suck (lol), shield, and frenzy mechanics all add interesting wrinkles to the game play. Turns out smashing bricks can still be an awesome time in 2023!

Já parei de jogar ele duas vezes. Não me prendeu até agora, mas também não consigo dizer que é ruim. Tem uma arte linda e consegue utilizar mecânicas interessantes em um tipo de jogo que deveria ser limitado.

Gorgeous brick-breaker game that redefines the genre with unique physics-based controls (sucking and blowing). Has some of the best in-game music you'll ever hear. Also on PS3, but the PC version has extra features not found on the PS3 version.
