Only game I'd ever claim to be deserving of more attention...

Great game. Played with undub patch and the jp voices were good. Did gin/haru route and the ending was satisfying but I would like to ng+ eventually for other endings and the 8th day. The combat was fun, but I found that I relied on save-scumming elemental dances a little too often. The story explored interesting ideas and themes through the mid-apocalyptic setting. Fairly difficult, but it made beating some of the bosses very satisfying. Probably my second favorite megaten game after persona 3 but it might be a little better than that game overall if I'm putting personal bias aside.

this is legitimately the best shin megami tensei game. careersoft cooked so unbelievably hard with this game and it's not even to exaggerate it- atlus barely helped them and somehow they just made the best SMT game with an beautiful artstyle and soundtrack, really awesome SRPG

one of the best SRPGs i've played with a good introductory skill floor and a high ceiling
setting is really interesting with well developed characters and an engaging story
the main gameplay loop is ridiculously fun with a good balance in difficulty
the alignment-based endings are among the best i've seen
not really a fan of NG+ and having to replay for different endings

Play is with an undub patch if you can. The Japanese voice acting is actually pretty good. Puts it up a rating for me.
