Stardew Valley is an open-ended country-life RPG! You’ve inherited your grandfather’s old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness!

this game is a nice relaxing game that doesnt make me irrationally angry most of the time
i see this game as a mix between both minecraft and animal crossing, but i think it's much better than both of those games, especially animal crossing
the villagers are all great (especially abigail, emily and leah aka the big 3) and it's so cool that you can actually date and marry them if you want
i like that they actually made it so villagers can either like or hate you instead of just blindly liking you all the time (looking at you, new horizons)
i always loved farming in video games, so to have a video game all about just that is amazing
if you have 15 dollars and want a relaxing gaming experience then i seriously recommend getting stardew valley
hearkens back to classic animal crossing mixed with elements that one could consider derivative of games like Minecraft mixed with major elements from other 2d games while still remaining fresh and oozing with personality and charm and obvious care put into it from the developers. I removed one star because of the speed at which the day goes by but eh you learn to be mindful of the time after a while.
