SUPER ROBOT PEAKBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[Played an english patched version on the MiSTer FPGA]

I miss the era when just about every franchise had a pinball spinoff and had their own unique take on the format.

Super Robot Wars features giant robot fights after a certain amount of bumpers hit where you can summon a robot from a variety of series (Gundam, Mazinger, Neon Genesis Evangelion, etc) that will arrive with a midi version of that show's theme music to fight an enemy robot from a variety of mecha properties. The mechs even do small versions of super attacks just like in the main SRW series.

The actual physics are not as tight as later pinball video games, but the creativity here is incredible.

Basically:Anime\Manga Mechas battle at pinball, Play by flicking the ball with the flippers, make the enemy boss appear and engage the super ability for the high score and defeat the Bosses of the game

But also, In addition to the quest for very high scores, a factor that promotes the replayability of Super Robot Pinball is that like Pokémon Pinball released two years before, it has a good list of random characters to be discovered and noted in the encyclopedia menu. Each one has a little description (in Japanese, of course) and a submenu with their attack animations

I honestly was not expecting so much for a Spin-Off game from the Super Robot Wars Franchise, but it's a actually a fun game, i recommend specially for pinball fans or if you just want a new gb/gbc game in your collection

This is one of my favorite games of all time. Imagine a world with mobile gacha games that aren't directly attached to a credit card. Heaven.
