The Crew 2 has this massive map of the US and tons of vehicles to try out, which is super cool... at first. The story's a bust, and progression feels really grindy unless you pay real money. Driving, flying, boating – it's all pretty arcadey, so if you're after realism, steer clear. It's got some fun moments, and hanging out with friends online can be a blast, but overall, it feels pretty shallow and uninspired.

A staggeringly varied and large racing game, but the sheer scope of this game causes every event that isn't a street or hypercar race to inevitably feel a little shallow on the physics and mechanics side. Also the visuals for this game might look worse than the first game, somehow.
