A genuinely adorable little story about the importance of honesty and owning up to your mistakes. Combined with the simple and relatively easy gameplay, this would be a fantastic game to play with a young child. It really is like an interactive story book.

Story:
Not every video game has to be an action packed, lore filled story line with multiple timelines, nor a deeply layered masterpiece with symbolism for every piece of dialogue. Sometimes all my heart desires is a basic but heartfelt story where you go from point A to point B, that's all this game is, and all it needs to be.

Music:
Not the most grandiose and intelligently composed soundtrack, but for a loving yet dark fairy tale, nothing else could have been more fitting. The simple, childlike sounding instruments, with spooky, dark melodies, create a very fitting ambience that radiate familiarity and nostalgia.

Art:
The art is simply beautiful. This is where the most effort was clearly put. The storybook-esque art style is animated beautifully, like you are actually playing a bed-time story. The strokes and splashes of color in these illustrations were so obviously filled with passion, its hard not to love.

Game play:
It will get boring. Although this game has amazing music and art, and a wonderful story to tell, even I question why this had to be a game. The game will become exhausting to play after a lot of the same puzzles and hopping around, for a lot of people, it's fun for the first few minutes before it becomes tiresome. I personally didn't mind it at all, but I can see how this would turn a lot of people off.

Thank you for reading.

I really wanted to like this game because the art and story are so charming but this became a bit of a slog by the end. Most of the times that I died were from the game's awkward controls. The puzzles were underwhelming too. The game is short and very forgiving at least. There are plenty of other much better designed 2D puzzle platformers available.

A short puzzle platform that knows what it wants to be. The story is the main highlight of this game with its fairy tale storybook style. The gameplay is fairly simple and easy with the most difficult puzzle being completely optional. The biggest issue is that jumping feels too floaty and a little imprecise but it's level design is simple and forgiving enough the point that it doesn't effect gameplay.

platforming wasn't good but not too bad the art style and the story is the good thing in the game
