The Maze

Also commonly known as "Scary Maze Game," it became popular around the early 2000s as a "screamer" prank to jump-scare people. Gameplay consists of avoiding touching the walls with your mouse cursor to reach the end of the maze. These walls get closer together after each level, making the path the player must travel through narrower. Infamously, when the player is close to reaching the end of level 3, a picture of the possessed girl from The Exorcist flashes on the screen against the sounds of loud screaming.

This game was like "aaaaaaaaa" and then I cried.

a friend said that this is the only game they know of that can be called "second-person" and she was so real for it

I'm happy i was spoiled what the ending was with this game. Otherwise i might had some trauma to deal with over this game.

I do think how it was designed in the end was good though since you had to look closer to the screen for the maximum experience.

Guys you should play scary maze game. It will be really epic trust me.

in fairness i miss this age before jumpscares were a marketable gaming merchandise empire geared towards children
