It was such a good game and very emotional. The best game ever created from telltale in my opinion

ojalá existiera otro juego de una persona que actúa como la figura parental de una niña pequeña en un apocalipsis zombie

Lindo juego, se llevó mi primer juegolloro

I have to recognize that this game was extremely influential on the gaming market as a whole, being the progenitor of the decision-based story game, and for Telltale's first attempt, it is quite good. I think at the time this game released, I would have given this a higher score than 3.5, but as time has gone on, while I do still think its great, its very clear that its a first attempt at making a game like this.

The game obviously shines with its story and characters, who are now iconic in the gaming sphere, with the main crux of the game being "how do you raise a child during the apocalypse?". What morals do you bestow upon them, what skills do you teach them... the scenario provides for some interesting story beats and setups, and really helps to get you attached to Lee and Clementine. I think their relationship is just beautiful, and the supporting cast helps add drama and tension in meaningful ways, even if most of the side characters are pretty one-dimensional. The story is amazing, and the ending is extremely touching and sad. It starts good and just gets better and better.

So, why only a 3.5? The main reason is that, looking back, you can tell Telltale games made the game extremely limited when it comes to making choices. For the most part, your choices don't really matter at all. Take for example, the end of Episode 1. Whoever you decide to save between the two side characters, they will just die later at the hands of another character. The choice is meaningless. And this goes for pretty much all of the "big" decisions throughout the game. If you're gonna play the game, the main focus is definitely on Lee and Clementine, and how Lee shapes her. Anything that happens to the other characters was pre-determined to happen, regardless of what you choose, and the same goes for the ending.

I don't think this is a huge fault against the game, as we had never really seen something like this before. It was a first attempt at providing a story-driven choice-based game where the players feel like they are actively shaping the story. While, in the end, you don't have as much influence as you may like, I think its justified by the story being so damn good. Its an emotional game that lays the groundwork for the technology to improve and evolve as more Telltale games were released, and has been cemented as an iconic story in gaming. Definitely a game that everyone should experience.

Dropped this really early. The performance issues, even with overclocking, on this game are really really atrocious on the Vita.
