Thrillville: Off the Rails lives up to its name with 20 death-defying rides so outrageous, they inspire the same word from every park visitor who sees them: "Whoa!" Thrillville: Off the Rails is one of the most unique theme park tycoon game of the all time! I'm not exaggerating my first sentence because this is how I felt when I first played this game when I was a child and until now, I still think that this game is one or if not, the greatest tycoon game of all time.

The gameplay is the one that stands out the most, tycoon games has a record of being boring for some people with the top down gameplay but Thrillville is an innovator, not only you can build your own roller coasters, put theme park rides, manage the business stand point of the theme park but you can also RIDE and PLAY the rides and stalls! If that doesn't convince you to play the game, you can also play as a janitor and make cleaning the theme park into a fun game instead of it being a chore, everything in Off the Rails is playable from fixing electronic parts of stores to playing the actual mini games that you have put in your theme park. In addition, you can also talk to the people who are in your theme park, yes, you can talk to them and even set them up into a blind date, even great is that you can romance with people around your park. Off the Rails is really filled with content and gameplay-wise you wont' be bored of this game even after playing for a whole day. Thrillville: Off the Rails' gameplay is unique and I must say very fun even until now you won't notice a clunkyness into the gameplay.

Gameplay aside, the story is where Thrillville: Off the Rails fell short. Well, in fact the devs did try to make an actual plot to the game but it was an okay story for the lore of the game but after playing hours and hours you will actually forget about the story itself, well yeah there's pieces of the plot all over the theme park itself but that's only about it.

Furthermore, the graphics is well... This game is from 2007 expect it to be not that great, BUT from its time it was actually okay and the cartoon-ish style of Thrillville is really perfect for the franchise. The wacky and crazy vibe of the game is just pure perfection! Let's not forget about THE SOUNDTRACK, the songs for Thrillville that you will hear all over the park are crazy good! This is one of the games that has really good music selections! Like, most of the songs that I heard in Thrillville is still stuck in my head until now, from Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield to East Northumberland High by Miley Cyrus all of the iconic pop songs are here and it perfectly fit the whole vibe of the game!

In conclusion, Thrillville: Off the Rails is a GREAT GAME! I enjoyed every second of it and loved every moment. PS the Cheerleader minigame is PEAK rhythm game, crazy how a mini game has a great rhythm game system than most rhythm games out there. Thrillville: Off the Rails, a great game.

Ultimate Band is one of the best rhythm games to ever come out and it's a shame not enough people recognize it for that
Great song selection, decent story mode, but the gameplay is exquisite
Oh Thrillville? Eh it's alright

This was my first amusement park sandbox tycoon game growing up. It's definitely more of a kids oriented game but it was still a fun nostalgic time playing through it again.

Banditoooooooo (crashing and inexplicable whip-cracking sound effect) Chinchillaaaaaaaaaaaaa! (even more egregious and inexplicable whip-cracking sound effects, this time accompanied by yelling)

Despite the legendary Bandido Chinchilla, unfinished coasters that people parachute into lakes off of, and literal emotionless robots strolling through your park, this lacks the heart of the original and doesn't go nearly as hard.

Played this game so much on the Wii back in the day
