Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2

released on Sep 20, 2000

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 redefined an already great game. Its addition of stellar new features (like Create-A-Park), and great game-play tweaks (the manual maneuver will be copied for years to come) made it the best installment in a killer series of games. Anyone who has ever skated the Philadelphia level will agree -- this game is a masterpiece of level design. Hell, it's a masterpiece all around. There isn't a bad park or dull moment, just pure gaming nirvana!

What a step up. I know, I'm playing the enhanced Xbox version but still, the difference between THPS 1 and 2 is night and day. The overall presentation is vastly improved, including the soundtrack. The controls have already been perfected and the level design is fantastic.

Una locura de juego que recuerdo perfectamente de jugar con mi hermano mayor cuando era pequeño, simplemente no entendía nada, pero era un vicio

Iconic, gameplay perfected, genre-defining.

Millionth replay. Had time to kill before a gig in Bristol so ducked into NQ64 game bar and finished this. Love that place.

0After playing the crap out of Skate 3, this one is hard to come back to. Trust me, I do wanna play through the whole game at some point, but I'm simply just not good at the game. (Also I have this on N64 which strangely enough isn't an option on here.)
