The most hollow gacha game I've ever played.

Bad isn't quite the right word to call this game, it's more of a waste of time, an unfruitful experience if you will. It's not even a chore, since at least a chore is something that you have to do. Like if you wash your clothes, you'll have clothes to wear, if you do the dishes, you'll have dishes to eat with. Even watching paint dry is better than this, because you're staring it with the anticipation that it'll eventually dry. You won't get anything more from this game than doing literally anything else.

If you value your time just play something else, something bad, something good, whatever.

basically genshin but with bots

"copy my homework but make it as obvious as possible"

Ngl.....hot take but I genuinely don't think ToF is as bad as most people say, at least not since Vera dropped it's 2nd half of the story. The story was def hot dog shit early on but after the confounding abyss stuff it did start getting interesting, the character designs aren't half bad and the map designs as well as the various overworld & exploration mechanics continued to improve for the better. And surprisingly while the game isn't breaking into probably even the top 50 devs have been treating it with love, making like 10m animated shorts and shit and just continue dishing out content and getting collabs so like.....it's not dying but I will admit it's very hard if not nigh impossible to convince someone of playing ToF in 2024 (luckily I have a few small group of friends who play consistently) but I rarely play only a bit every couple of months but when I do I enjoy it icl

Just really boring. Shame, because the bones of the combat are interesting, it just fails to keep my attention. Worse, it failed twice, once at launch and then again when I started over on the Playstation version for tbe Evangelion crossover,

>be an evangelion fan
>notice new collab trailer for some shitty anime game
>trailer is actually cool
>fuck they got me
>plays game
>shit sucks dunkey dick like i expected
>plays it anyway for the evas
help

update: never saw the evas, game sucks too much and i need space on my ps5 for better games
