Veloren is an open-world multiplayer voxel RPG. It is inspired by games such as Cube World, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Dwarf Fortress and Minecraft. Veloren is open-source. It is licensed under the GNU GPL 3.0 license. It uses original graphics, musics and other assets created by its volunteer community. Being contributor-driven, its development community and user community is one and the same: developers, players, artists and musicians come together to develop the game.

fuckin love veloren
i stopped playing cube world during the prerelease phase and as far as i can tell the version of veloren i played back in 2021 was basically on the same level so its good!
and the game has had continuous updates since then so i can only imagine that it's gotten better since
i should actually take a look at the game again some time soon and see what's changed cus this game has a lot of potential
also its open source which means that if you dont like the game fix it yourself lol
also its coded in rust (the programming language not the game) which from what i can tell will make some people go "LETS GOOOO BASED FUCK C" and make others violently projectile vomit at the mere thought of it
i dont think that has any bearing on the game itself just thought its worth mentioning

Fun foundation for something legitimately good, will try to keep up with the updates
