The closest i'll ever be to play warhammer 40k on tabeltop (i refuse to spend that much money in plastic)

First 40K game I've actually finished, I really enjoyed it.
It's probably the closest videogame to the actual tabletop game except you can move shoot move and there isn't a restriction to how many of one model you can take (I ran 8 Hellblasters every mission during the latter end of the campaign) Keep in mind that in almost every mission in the campaign except for the last one you will need to kill every enemy unit to win.
If you like turn-based strategy and 40K I highly recommend this and I don't even really like Blood angels

As a fan of both turn-based tactical fighters and W40K, this game felt like it was made for me.

It's a really fun campaign game where you become attached to your units as they level up. The missions are varied enough to keep the game enjoyable and the difficult settings add an extra challenge.

I got this through Game Pass and would have felt slightly ripped off with the full purchase given there are only two factions and one campaign. I think they have added more factions since via DLC but still. At the very least they should be a Tyranid campaign in the base game.

Pretty great, even if it drags in the middle a little bit. Campaign lasts 10-15 hours and is quite good. Look forward to their pseudo-4x mode.

It's a slow paced turn based game and it's quite entertaining if you like games like this, but i felt it was quite generic to a point, the skills don't light up the sky or anything, but it's worth a shot if you like the genre.
