Amazing sequel to wizardry 1.
It plays pretty much like a dlc to wiz1 and I ended up playing this a couple of months after which I'm thankful for as I can see why some might see this as a bit repetitive if they play this straight after.
Despite this I enjoyed the dungeon crawling and dungeon design a lot more and the game had multiple bosses which was lacking in 1.
My only complaint is the balance of the game felt a bit off as the game used the same leveling system as 1 but had less floors in the dungeon so the difficulty spikes were a lot harsher.
RIP to the 3 brave heroes who gave up their life's for the sake of the quest: filthy, Peter Griffin and Jumbo Josh. You 3 will never be forgotten 🙏

Console versions of this game are much better than the first game. Five boss fights that scale with the player rather than an endless grind. If not for the forced use of MALOR at the end it would be ideal. The only other minor nitpick that keeps the game from greatness is that many of the floors seem to use a tessellating pattern that made certain areas repetitive. Still, solid improvement and can be recommended over the first game.

Slightly more enjoyable then wiz1

Trying to copy the save from wizardry 1 to 2 and having it working is a pain in the ass.
