Wrecking Crew

released on May 26, 1985

Wrecking Crew is a platform action game for one or two players. The player controls Mario (Player 2 as Luigi) working on a demolition site. The goal is to break down all of the stone walls on each stage. The game features a custom level maker, where players can make their own Wrecking Crew levels. The game had the ability to save those custom levels. However, the required peripherals (the keyboard and Data Recorder accessories) were released only in Japan.

Como tal es un juego curioso pero que a mi gusto que no se pueda saltar le quita mucho al juego y lo vuelve bastante aburrido de jugar

More than a platformer action game, this is a puzzle game. There is fun to be had, and it's an interesting concept that I'd like to see get a modern take. Still, it's full of NES jank, I was only able to get to PHASE 81 and I just can't see how should I beat that level. I also abandoned the thing for like a year or two and constantly used the rewind feature in the NSO version, so I'm deciding on abandoning it completely and consciously this time.

Played for 5 hours and 59 minutes through Nintendo Switch Online.

Erm what the sigma the guy that looks like mario cant jump 0/10

another prime example of pre-SMB NES games with a lot of heart and ideas that can't manage to grip me in the slightest

Played on Nintendo Entertainment System - Nintendo Switch Online for a little while. Wrecking Crew is not my kind of game, so I will not be returning to it.
