WWE SmackDown! vs. Raw brings two of wrestling's most popular game series together on the PS2. The game re-creates WWE programming with voice-overs and commentary throughout the season mode. During matches, you can learn a host of new gameplay moves, such as stare-downs, chop battles, and submission reversals. You can also try out situational challenges or create your own championship. Play as your favorite wrestler, including legends and Divas, and prove to the world that you have what it takes to be the WWE champion.

Um jogo muito bom que me marcou a infância. Talvez um dos primeiros grandes sucessos da marca em vídeojogos. A gameplay é um pouco datada, mas o jogo seguinte acabou por servir para limar arestas.

I didn't get to play too much of the game because my copy crapped out on me but what I did play was pretty fun. There's tons and tons of match types and modes to keep you entertained. All of the models and entrances and menus and stuff like that look surprising good for PS2. They gameplay is fun and all the moves and animations look great and flashy and I love how much weight moves have when Wrestlers hit the ground. My only problem is I don't fully understand the controls so lots of what happens feels like an accident but that's mostly on me. I enjoyed it overall but I don't think I'll come back to it very often mostly because I enjoy the 2K style of wrestling games more.

This game was how 3 year old me found out wrestling existed and it has ruined my life continually ever since. 10/10
