Zawsze puszczam kolędy jak w to gram

It took what the first game was able to do and just vastly improve every aspect, apart from the missions. Actually being able to play as the factions of elves, dwarves, goblins etc was so refreshing.
The community surrounding this game is what really elevated it to a whole new tier. Mods added everything a LOTR fan could ever dream of to the game. Using characters and factions from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd ages that weren't in the original game was awesome.
GOAT

Better in nearly every way, incredibly fun.

Honestly think this game was fun but I dont really remember it? But I remember being like "oh this is good!" but then also thats just what everyone was saying? Who knows. What is anything anymore.

one of the best RTS games ever made no cap

Not an RTS fan by any means but this game was so much fun.

A masterpiece of RTS's on all fronts. Truly one of the greatest games ever made. Still so unbelievably fun to play and has incredible world building.

A really good strategy game, good LoTR game!
Decent sequel.

I hadn't played the first one as a kid when I found this at my library, but wow was it incredible as a huge LOTR fan. I must have made a hero for every single faction and played every single one. So much fun with this one.

Lotr in full strategy executed well.

As a big fan of the movies and Age of Empires, I had to play this game. I enjoyed playing with both archers and riders. We have the opportunity to create our own customized hero as well as play with the existing ones (Legolas, Aragorn, Gandalf, Frodo, etc.). This game may not be a masterpiece, but it is a decent and enjoyable one.

Console RTS with a worker build system, This is how the 360 version of C&C3 should have worked. More gamepad friendly by at least a little bit, it's just a shame I'm not a LotR fan or really dig having a fantasy theme in an RTS. I want like, tanks and shit.

p.s. this is the game that had the 700 achievement score I think.

Greatest RTS I've got to play. Clear upgrade from the first game which was already pretty good. Everything improved and it shows. A pretty good game. 3,5/5

One of my favourite rts games

This game embodies all the fantasies that you could have from watching the movies. Any type of unit is in the game, and they all have unique abilities and that is fucking awesome. One of my favourite things about the game was the ability to stomp people with the cavalry and the different dynamics between how you could counter these things. I loved that in this second entry they added more variety of buildings, the ability to place them wherever you want and things like having the ring and similar.

Campaigns are also pretty cool.

One of the best RTS games ever.

So fun to play with friends, I don't have any idea about the campaign tho.

Unbalanced RTS, but one of the best usages of AAA copyrights ever. They squeezed everything they could from the movies, including voice acting for all the characters, and also pulled some nice "extras" from the books, and the execution was pretty great.

The campaign story is meh (BFME 1 was much better) but the multiplayer community thrived, there were cool mods... until EA shut everything down.

Also, War of the Ring mode was pretty cool.

We'd play this game a lot with my oldest cousin a decade ago, I remember getting quite tired of the game since we he'd have us play this most of the time lol.
Loved the game though, even though I wasn't really good at it because it is simply not only a good RTS game, but also a good adaption as well. If you love one or both of them, like my oldest cousin, this game is a must play.
Keep in mind that the game's servers have officially shutdown so you will have to download T3A:Online to play it without LAN
