A pretty divisive fighter, simplified for newer players but can cause grievances for more experienced players. A really awesome roster (which was planned to be way bigger) with the inclusion of totally new RWBY characters makes that the best aspect of the game. If you're a fan of any of the fighters outside of the RWBY characters, you're generally better off playing them in their own game due to some of the wackiness of this game.
Just felt jank to play, despite the fact that I really wanted to like it, and maybe have this be my first fighting game I really invest myself in. That being said I can't fault any of the systems, or if anything it's the sheer amount of them. Sure it's complex, but it's also really god damn hard to get into, having to learn 25 different things while walking, just to eventually be able to run isn't that fun in my opinion.
But I will say that it has some stellar visuals, excellent music, fun character designs, and for the most part no issues with connection, even though I mostly just vs'd friends.
My recommendation would be come back and give this game a go, try other arc sys fighting games (probably ggst) then give bbcf a go.

The final phase of Blazblue C-Saga
What a Masterpiece
Despite everything against this game
from disaster development
to 60% of Story scipt been Scraped
for half backed final form of Abyss mod
and the unfortunate deleted English dub stuff
Its still managed to completing the Story to its satisfied conclusion
Its for real a PEAK FICTION
there is will not be any fighting game like Blazblue been made again ....Rest in Piece for this amazing Series

A genuinely phenomenal fighting game. Easy to learn, hard to master gameplay and mechanics that give this game ridiculous depth but still keep it really fun to mess around with your friends on. Absolutely banging OST with a wide array of unique and interesting characters in both aesthetics and gameplay(Bang Shishigami is now my favourite fictional character ever). The only gripe I have with BBCF is it’s extremely convoluted lore and some of the more questionable character designs, but if you can get past those than this will quickly become one of your favourite fighting games as it has to me.

Myself and friends are dumb as bricks when it comes to fighting games. I don't want simplified inputs, lowered entrance barriers, or anything of the sort. I want to enter a game I know nothing about, with a bat-shit insane cast of characters with all kinds of varying mechanics, and not know where to start. I've put 150 hours into this game and am still dumb as a brick, but goddamn this game will never not be fun to play. Every fighting game I play after this will be measured against this.
Wish I was real enough to learn Hazama but that shit ain't ever gonna happen

Another game I picked up because it was getting rollback netcode, and although the number of friends I had playing it was relatively small, I played a TON of this game. I returned to puppet characters and had a really good time. I learned combos! I ground stuff out in training mode! And I even managed to deploy some of said stuff in matches! What a time, what a moment in my life. I will never forget you , BlazBlue: Central Fiction.
