I have killed him! The outsider! Atlast! Big add-on. Almost Dishonared III

Follows the same type of story of the first two. Although the story is a bit lacking, the gameplay is just as fun. The only bad part is that there are many repeated areas from the second game.

i gotta say i love this game really, it has solid foundation from dishonored 2 with fewer power. but dont let that fool you, while dishonored doto only had 3 power, the power itself has depth and intertwined to one another, so you actually use it, you not overwhelm by many skills to unlock.

While the additional of tools and fewer but far more powerful skills make up for the gameplay side, the level itself leave alot to be desired. The only noteable level is the third level, which is a bank heist with wide array of option to infiltrate, do your task, and escape, other level not so much. Its a shame really, knowing dishonored series is known for its unique level like that cambell level, royal boyle last party, crack in a slan, and clockwork mansion. I think the reason for less ambitious level is that Doto is a spin-off with less expectation from the player. But i do think this game is worth while and has tons of replayability.

The story is not as engaging as the rest of the series, but i dont think its a flaw really, but definitely weak on doto, dont let that discourage you from playing this game, once you get the thrill using displace ooooo boy i love it

The music as usual in this game is superb, its a shame that the composer has passed away T-T, rest in piece daniel licht

É meio que o Dishonored 2 só que com outra protagonista, mas é divertido igualmente. Recomendo
Obs: zerei e platinei em 14h

A great expansion of Dishonored 2 that excelled at captivating the feelings that the main game had. Felt like I was playing more of Dishonored 2 and was a great way to finish off the outsider's story

önceki oyunlara göre bu oyunda mana olmadan kendi kendine barın dolma olayı sayesinde skilleri bol bol kullandım bu oyunda skill muhabbetini baya dengeli yapmıslar cok begendim onun disinda hikaye olarak daha farklı bir sey beklerdim biraz sade kaldı onun disinda guzel oyun baya baya tadına çıkara çıkara oynadım her detayını inceleyerek falan

Short and fun, can't complain for more games in dishonored universe

A short but decent sequel that streamlined some of the franchise's mechanics, but failed to live up to it's predecessors.

It was fun to be able to play the conclusion of this story, and while I did not enjoy it as much as the first two games it was not a bad game by any means. In this one we play as Billie Lurk (captain of the Dreadful Whale, from Dishonored 2), and we are looking for our mentor who the Outsider had previously given powers to. The scope of the story is pretty narrow and there are only 5 missions. They are all pretty solid, but the game is short in comparison to the previous two.

Gameplay wise all the main mechanics return with sword combat, projectile weapons, traps/grenade, and void powers. They did streamline how the void powers work and took away the skill tree to obtain more powers, but the main ones were still there (blink, foresight?, and semblance). You also don't need to recharge void power with elixers anymore, it restores automatically after a few seconds. I didn't mind the trimmed mechanics but it did feel like a step down. It would have been nice to customize the powers a bit, but the core of the gameplay was still there.

I overall really enjoyed the feel of the game. It felt like a Dishonored where you could approach things in a stealthy or bombastic way. The choice was yours. It was just shorter and leaner on the main mechanics and not quite as good as it's predecessors.

I played this entirely on Steam Deck and it ran near flawlessly. I set it to 40hz/40fps with High graphics settings and it only dipped into the 30's a couple times. Overall the game played great from start to finish with 0 crashes. It took me a little over 8.5 hours to complete.

Overall, I enjoyed the game. It ran well, played well, and the story was different enough to keep it fresh. Definitely recommend if you liked the prior two games, but just know it is not as good, is shorter, and progression/mechanics are a bit simplified.

Not as good as Dishonored 1 or 2, but still fun enough

bank + observatory levels are insane S-tier nonsense. funny balance of some systems having no depth and some having incredible depth that could not possibly be warranted by any amount of the headshotting everyone in the game from a distance I did. anyway great game

Its alright Ig, not my fav out of the franchise but it was pretty fun. Still manage to captivate me till the end atleast.

disinterested in the story of this one but the abilities are fun as heck

lack of a chaos system made it feel too easy and the last level was kind of stupid. overall the story wasn't the best but billie is an awesome protagonist i love her dearly

interesting concept that holds a lot of potential, however the execution of the new powers is poor, the loredump and character development regressed, and it has some areas which instantly kill you, as if it were an invisible wall, which is not acceptable for Dishonored standards

Best game since the first one.

Installed

Turned on

Played a few minutes

Realized it was just Dishonored 2 with less interesting, clunkier gameplay and a story I give even less of a shit about

Turned off

Maybe I'll get back to it eventually and I'm sure it's decent enough but I don't need any more of this right now

A resposta sempre é obtida rapidamente.

Billie I love you!!!! She's such an interesting character and her relationship to the outsider is so engaging I love it, it's such a different dynamic to every other character in the series and Billie is such a compelling protagonist.

The story is incredible, the characters are wonderful, my only gripe is the actual gameplay feels a little more limited than the other entries to the series. Buildings have fewer viable entry routes and Billies powers feel less intuitive than the range the other 3 characters we play as at some point have. I do like the idea that because she technically doesn't have the mark, she's having to rely on her own skills boosted by the limited powers she does have, but it feels like the map is crafted with Corvo/Emily/Daud's powers in mind rather than Billies. Also there's no chaos system or clean hands/ghost route, which I think was one of the major story features of the other Dishonored games, so playing this it just feels like something's missing. Like, having zero consequences for killing a dozen guards in the open just feels wrong?

At points the pacing is a little off, the story feels slow in some places and way too fast in others. I think if DOTO had been a 2 part story similar to Daud's own campaign, it could have given a little more breathing room to Billie's journey. I think what we got was great, and I would have loved to see more of it, especially focusing more on Billie herself and the other major relationships she's had up until now rather than just her relationship with Daud.

I still love DOTO, it has some of my favourite environments and favourite story out of the whole series, but the gameplay doesn't do it justice.

Nowhere near as bad as anyone makes it out to be. However, it could have just been a DLC for dishonored 2

Not bad by any mean, just the most forgettable of the three

An expansion of Dishonored 2. Nothing more Nothing less.

I found the gameplay in this one worse than the rest of the series. Stealth was much harder and “just run through and do what you need to” felt like the only viable strategy.

Cheat engine kullanmadığın sürece çok sıkıcı. Ortalama

A nice dishonored 2 dlc with a great story
